St Kilda, 2009
Within a heritage overlay of a long narrow site, a growing family wanted a better connection to their south facing garden. There were a series of lean to’s and a rabbit warren of rooms, which we replaced with a contemporary addition that was warm, bright, vibrant and functional. We added windows to capture northern light and improve cross ventilation, and opened up the back of the house, providing an open plan kitchen/living room to create a strong connection to the garden and view.
