This was a single level 1960s unit within a group of four with a north facing frontage. We added a first level addition to cater to a growing family, creating a connection between interior and exterior spaces. Making the most of the orientation and by retaining the existing brick, we doubled the footprint using a simple, natural palette and retaining the existing brick. This renovation transformed a worn-out unit into a light filled, functional and inviting home.
